i know how hard it is to watch a new movie, so i've organised these by 'taste' instead of genre. it's a 'if you liked X, maybe check out Y and Z' sort of system.

i've also organised them by release date, so that whenever i watch a great new film i can easily add it to the appropriate list.

(here's a bit of advice: check secondhand stores for movies. they go real cheap, and you can watch them whenever. the only downside is finding somewhere to put all your physical dvds.)
